He grew up in Ukiah, California. As an entrepreneur he opened his tax office in 1990. To establish a client base he recalls going out knocking on doors, traveling around Mendocino County visiting families, friends and neighbors in their homes to help them file their taxes.

31 years later Mendoza Business Center has a client base that Ramón considers "family". He knows each one by name, family and their circumstances. Tax season is an opportunity to catch up with them and serve them. Ramon understands that in order to apply the tax laws and identify benefits, one must know each individual's circumstances, to ensure the best results, whether it results in a refund or a collection, the important thing is to be meticulous, careful to establish trust with his clients.

A leader in the community, over the years Ramon has supported and served in many non-profit organizations. Promoting cultural events, raising funds to create scholarships to inspire young people to pursue educational opportunities and to to develop communities in his hometown.
